Mengyu Li at JCSDS 2026 in Guiyang

In July 2026, Mengyu Li attended the 4th Joint Conference on Statistics and Data Science and the IMS China Biennial Meeting in Guiyang. During the conference, Prof. Jun S. Liu delivered the keynote talk Conditional Generation via Sequential Monte Carlo: Diffusion, flow, and bridge, featuring joint work with Mengyu Li, Qianqian Qu, and Cheng Meng.

From paper development to the keynote stage, the work continued to be discussed, refined, and seen by a broader audience. Mengyu also met Huimin Cheng, a BDAL alumna and Assistant Professor at Boston University. Seeing BDAL members from different stages meet in Guiyang added a warm note of continuity to the trip.
