Important note: Admissions are handled through the Institute’s unified committee process. Master’s or Ph.D. positions cannot be confirmed by email before formal application. Please first complete the institute-level application process and obtain the relevant admission eligibility; group matching will then depend on research interests, prior communication, and topic fit. BDAL-RUC hopes to build a group where people can do serious research while also feeling relaxed, supported, and connected. 3. Matching Process

Matching period: Students who intend to formally join the group are generally expected to complete at least 3 months of in-depth research communication and topic exploration before enrollment. Master’s students usually need to determine an advisor soon after enrollment; without deep pre-enrollment engagement through group meetings, project discussions, or short-term research participation, formal joining will generally not be considered. The group will evaluate research fit, communication, staged commitment, and work completion.
